He is Risen & nine months & brfday

 Happy Easter everyone!!! Hope everyone had a great Easter and made sure to make time for Jesus too! Because of Jesus we can all live again and not only again buy with God!

April 15th: Probably one of the BEST. Days. Eva. So firstly we gotta hang out with our friend Tanesha and help her clean out her old house! Her old house is actually called the 1880 house and it also was a bed and breakfast way back when! And old famous people actually stayed there to go fishing at the salmon river! As we helped clean it we listened to I can only imagine by Mercy me which we actually just listened to that song that morning while working out so that was cool! Also a ton of miracles happened while we helped her clean so it was amazing! Then we randomly stopped by Lori to see how she was doing and she was doing good, her roommate tho lost his fiance two years ago that day we came so we were able to pray for him! He cried a bit and it was tender. Then we had weekly planning and a lesson with Marge right after that, then right before sports night we found this awesome lady named Tiffinay! And get this earlier that day I complimented her hair and then we saw her again and that was totally a sign! So we made her a friend!

April 16th: I started my gratitude journal today! Today is also the day I got my mission call as a missionary last year! So that's crazy! We had a lesson with Mark and he was totally not interested but yeah..the. we had an interesting lesson with Jimmy..we got permission to drive Sister Rettig to his house and we talked about the atonement of Jesus Christ with him as he paced back and forth and put him on date for baptism!! Don't know if he was all there but uhh hopefully he can get baptized! Then we had a lesson with Crystal and Elizabeth!

April 17th: Today was ruff ngl. We met this guy named Mark cutting wood, made him a friend even tho he did not come to church. Then we had a super cool spirit filled lesson with Amanda! We explained that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are trying to get close to her just how she is trying to get close with her kids! Then a ton of knocking and public contacting! 

April18th: totally skipped this day in my journal oopsss.. but uh we met this lady named Marice!! And she talked to us for like two hours about her boy problems and then we had a lesson with Nancy too!

April 19th: Emily's Birthday!! Today was pretty epic, we had a weird lesson with Marge..her and her daughter were gaming when we got there, Marge read us a poem she wrote. A pretty depressing poem too and she showed us her mancoon cat and robot cat and robot bird and her off brand Alexa told her it was time to work out and she told it to shut up, it was pretty funny! Then we met this cool guy named Matthew! Had a super sprit filled lesson with him and then an awesome lesson with Helan! 

April 20th: easter!!! Today we had awesome Easter service at church! 3 talks! One on the garden of Gethsemane, one on the crucifixion and one on the resurrection! Then we delivered cookies and did a cool Easter lesson with the Corden kids and had dinner at the Johnsons!

Making a Cake!!

 

Hey yall!! This week was an adventure that's for sure..

April 8th: We had an awesome lesson with Leyna! We listened to fourth floor last door w/ her and her mom! She made this yummy stir fry and I got broccoli in my teeth so i fr was ezma from emporers new groove but it's okay cause I got it right out. anyways we were at her house for like an hour! Then we finally got in contact with this refural and he was a sketchy lil dude smoking but we made him a friend cause we read a scripture to him! Yay!  And Sister Rettig decided it was her turn to give the spiritual thought at dinner today which is totally chill with me!

April 9th: Today was our last DC!! ( district council) it was pretty good if I do say so myself cause me and Sister Johnson gave a training on strengths and weaknesses as a companion ship and so we talked about our strengths and goals to make our weaknesses better! So we committed everyone else to make there own goals of how to make there weaknesses better! One of ours is time management 😬.. I talked about how Sister Johnson is really good with kids and she said how I'm really good at holding a conversation and relating to people! Then we had lunch at this healthy fast food place called core life! It was pretty yummy! We stopped by a bunch of uninterested people! Then we had a great lesson with Debra at the Rettigs! 

April 10th: kinda was hectic! A lot of driving! We had a lesson with Linda and she has so many questions!! Sooo hopefully we have good anwsers.. she is awesome but a lil intimidating but I think it went well! We taught the restoration! After her we drove to service and service fr canceled on us :( buuuut it's okay cause since they canceled I had this feeling we needed to visit Penny Kimball right here right now!! instead of later and it was really cool cause when we got to her house she said we stopped by at the perfect time! Please pray for her hubby cause he has cancer :( so he's on our prayer list now! His name is Michael Kimball! But anyways doctor said he would only live 6 months but he's hit two years and still going strong! We visited Tami and caught her at a perfect time to have a lesson on baptism!! She wants to get her daughter baptized but nglieee her daughter did not look interested at all...she didn't even talk to us or even look at us so this will be interested. And Susie called and wants us to move her Jazzuzi bathtub off her front porch! 

April 11th: TODAY WAS NUTS! we had 7 lessons planned so that's a lot especially when moving from place to place. Our first lesson was good! It was with our super cute and super old  friend! She is so nice but you have to yell at her and she's still like "what???" But it was good! Then we made a cake with mellisa for her sons birthday!! We made like an orange zest cake and it looked pretty good! Unfortunately we didn't get to taste it cause we had another lesson to get to..but then they canceled so we just knocked then we had a lesson with Crystal and I fr love her and sometimes she's what keeps me going!! Anyways it was an Easter lesson! About the atonement and ressurection!! Very spiritual! After her zack canceled and Sister Giovo was like I don't think he's interested and I was like "you think?? " jk I didn't say that but I think she's right. Then Susie canceled so we didn't get to move her bathtub anywhere

April 12th: We had exchanges with Manulis!so we had zone council on zoom which was so lame, I've never not had it in person and I wasn't a fan..especially cause the zone leader told us to give a training the next day at 10 pm like "bro?? Elder bro we are going to bed bruh" so winged it and it was okay. So we made some friends! The other Sisters met frank again...oh boy I stopped teaching him so teaching him again will be interesting. Then this dog was barking at us and smacking his entire body against the car and the lady was like " Ur gonna kill my dog!!" If anything her dog could bulldozer right over me.

April 13th: SUNDAY! I LOVE SUNDAYS! So going to church was amazing! Crystal and Elizabeth and Elizabeth's friend Abby came! Had a spiritual thought at the rettigs and dinner at Johnsons! Yay!

Spiritual thought: I've been reading in 3 nephi and I'm reading about the higher law! I invite everyone to read 3 nephi 11!! Let's all live the higher law and see the blessing together!

General Conference!!!

 Hellooo hello hellooooo!!! ( if any of yall have seen the series of unfortunate events I'm saying hello like how count Olaf says it cause for some reason that came into my head) How is everyone doing? My week has been pretty good. I apologize if this email is really short! Unfortunately I chose to write every day this week in my journal today instead of through out the week so that took quite a lot of time!

April 1st: April fools!! I actually did the funniest April fools trick on my trainy! Lol I told her at the beginning of the day to choose a group of Elders to go on exchanges with because at the end of every transfer you go on exchanges with Elders. She totally bought it! It was so funny! But today was also zone confrence and it was really spiritual! We learned being a good missionary is caring about the people more than the numbers

April 2nd: We made cookies for Sister pappa! Then had dinner at the Cordens and made them cookies but they are a plant based family so that was kinda awkward..so we took the cookies back and gave them to this lady named Kathy that we met that day! She was not interested but talked with us for like 30 minutes on her porch! 

April 3rd: We had a paintkng/ coloring lesson with Leyna! Leyna put my paper of unicorns and dragons on the wall and we talked about prophets with her and her mom! We had service! We cleaned stuff!! Then we met Susan fourth floor last door situation! Literally we knocked to Two entire apartment buildings and I had a really excited feeling about doing it! Like I knew we would find somebody who was ready to learn! We found Susan! 

April 4th: I was in manulis all day OK splits! We had lunch with a crazy lady named Sharon who kept putting me in the corner. And then we did member work! 

April 5th: general conference!!! It was so good!! We had it at the colemans! And the giovos!

April 6th: Confrence part two!! We invited like 20 or our friends to watch it with us and the only person who came was Crystal! Yay! And the Rettigs! Lol 

Spiritual thought: No matter where your obedience is, your worth in God's eyes never changes!
