Cray Cray Week

 

So this week was actually absolutely nuts haha! Toets forgot about all that happened until I wrote it down lol! 

October 14th: Sooo Sister Coston was feeling under the weather..like it was bad. She almost passed out but she's feeling better now and i made a bunch of phone calls and no one was interested but we watched 17 miracles and she painted my nails!

October 15th: We had Zone Council and that was fire! We made some zone goals and one of our goals is to bring inactive members back to church sooo its gonna happen!! We've been meeting with sister Dickinson and she seems eager to come back so hopefully she does! We had a lesson with Firefly about the importance of CPR (spiritual) church, pray, read! Then we had a lesson with Jessica and she was yapping her head off and she pretty much told us her life story and even though she was super nice we could barley get a word in..so thankfully at young women's that night I got to partake in creating a giant paper mache spider for the hogwarts trunk or treat the 25th! 

October 16th: We had a ton of lessons and only two of them fell through yay! We had a lesson with Fran and actually found out her real name is actually Barbra...idk if she knows that..she's a little outta it but thats what her mail said so idk..but hopefully she pulls up to church! Then we had a lesson with sister Dickinson and she's a cutie! Then we had a phone call with keal and Mary

October 17th: Ssooo the Freedom sisters got in an accident on the highway..One of the Sister turned the wheel a bit too hard and they fell pretty far into a ditch..thankfully they are both okay but they are both pretty bruised up but got like 5 people to download the Book of Mormon app in the hospital so thats a win! So this all went down when we were in North Park on exchanges so yeah we weren't able to help them at all but kinda a blessing in disguise so they could rest in our apartment and use our beds cause they were closer to us and so the other Sisters could pick em up

October 18th: The sisters went back to freedom and then we had a lesson with Jo and she's stubborn and won't come to church! Then we had a lesson with Jessica! Freaking love her! This lesson wasn't quite as long  as our last one and she let us talk and read some scrippys so progress! 

October 19th: Church was really good! We got three friends there! Mark! Heather and Dennis!!

Back to OP ( orchard park)

Hey what's up everyone! So for my last area pres sent me back to OP. Last time I was here I only got to serve here for one transfer so maybe he felt like I deserved a second! And its my last transfer so thats wild!! Im so happy to be here and to already have member relationships and continue to build those relationships! 

October 7th: Transfers news! Going to OP with Sister Coston! ( me and Sister Coston are comps and we lived in a quad together in Binghamton and sooo we are besties!) So we said goodbye to the Hamons and themwt  Spencers!! Oh man ill miss the Spencer's but thankfully im still in Buffalo so i'll probably see them around! 

October 8th: packed all my stuff and tbhh I don't remember much that happened today!! We mostly just said goodbye to people and hit refurals!

October 9th: Said goodbye to Sister Stuart and Sister Martin! Sister Stuart is going home and Sister Martin is coming home with me next transfer!! Sister Coston pulled up and I seriously love her guts! We stopped by some refurals! Had a lesson with Paula and then dropped off my stuff in OP and then me and sister Coston went finding a bit and I unpacked!

October 10th: we had a ton of lessons planned for today but most of them fell throughhhh dang itttt but its okay cause we got to have a lesson with Allison about general confrence and she taught me how to make a pacesefalasourous origami!!

October 11th: TOday Waz Amazing!!!!!! We had a stellar lesson witha recent convert Wiston and we talked about faith and read Ether 12 and talked about how you will see miracles AFTER the trail of your faith! Fire message truly! Then me and Coston were driving around like chickens with our heads cutting off going to refurals houses! It started dumping rain and we knocked this one house and the lady looked at us, locked the door and walked away and we thought she was gonna come open it and it was so funny we were absolutely drenched lol! But then the coolest thing happened! We met this refuaral named Callie and her hubby Jacob and there kids Able and Hope! They are the cutest fam and they want to have a Bible study with us and go to church! We talked about how the creation of the earth proves there is a God! Facts! Yay! We acted all cool but as soon as we got in the car i squeeled like a little girl I was so happy. Then we celebrated by going to the Bailees and making a Frankenstein rice crispie thing! Then we had dinner with the liscom family and I have missed this family so freaking much! I had Christmas eve with them and so seeing them again was so fun! Little Zoey gave me like 50 hugs i swear! Love them! Then we stopped by some more refurals!

October 12th: SUNDAY!! Today was also full of miracles first cause its the sabbath and we get to talk more about Jesus Christ and secondly cause we met some more cool people! Sister Bjornn ( one of the girls in the quad I live in) she gave an awesome talk about feasting upon the words of christ! And our friend Mark came up to us at church and said he wants to get baptized! He is actually the husband of a lady i taught here 11 months ago and she wants to get baptized too!! So thats awesome! We spent time with the Young women at church and they all gave me a hug and said they missed me and wholly cow im gonna cry I love this ward! After church we gave the Roes a card cause it was sister costons idea to make them a card cause she felt like it and they really appreciated it! Then we had dinner at the Mosses and they are the cutest ever! Then we found this dude named Nick and he talked to us for like 30 minutes about the kingdoms of glory and he seemed intrested anx said he'd give us a call so now we just have to fast all day and wait by the phone ( best two years movie...if you haven't seen it..see it) then we met Jessica! We talked to her about how Jesus loves everyone and then we asked her if she wants a Book of Mormon and then she looked at me and said "you already gave me one" sooo I don't remember giving her a Book of Mormon but I must have 11 months ago! Crazy!! Then we knocked some more houses and just had a great night!

Spiritual thought: Put it in Gods hands! Ether 12:12. Im giving up Facebook for the rest of my mission and ive already seen miracles come from it :) 

General Conference yay!!!

September 30th: Today was kinda boring but also super amazing and spiritual!! So I met Julie! They call her juju bug because I think she has the memory of a bug cause this was the 5th time they taught the Plan of Salvation apparently but I think she's starting to get a hang of it! She was really cute and so was her dog Bella! Bella had no teeth too, thats when you know they are a true New Yorker! We stopped by a bunch of people and no one was home! Then we had dinner at the Harris's and they are crazy! Brother Harris was making crazy jokes about some not so funny stuff and sister Harris...well just stuff went down and there dog peed all over my socks and then the tire popped and green goop got all over sister Staurts hair. But overall it was a good time! Had a great spiritual thought about the names of Jesus Christ and my favorite name for him is Wonderful cause it makes me happy to think of the Savior! Then our friend George received a blessing because he has been having heart attacks.. after the blessing there was a giant smile on his face and we had a very spiritual lesson about baptism and the Holy ghost! 

October 1st: we had district council and it was pretty epic! Sister Spencer told us all the scriptures said we were supposed to give eachother holy kisses and it was seriously so funny, sister Spencer just talks and never thinks about it and it seriously is so hilarious. Then we had service with the Lancaster elders! Elder Hughes and Elder Abbott! Elder Hughes is from my grandparents ward back home and he told me that my grandparents were gonna go to this mission call and fairwell talk but they came to mine instead. Haha! We both have been out for the same amount of time to so thats kinda crazy! Elder Abbot hit sister Staurt in the face with butter and then later the lid to the ground beef cooler fell on his head, we were all laughing so hard it was awesome! We went to Texas roadhouse for dinner cause Sister Stuart is going home soon so she's got to celebrate! Then we we to a soccer game to support our members Maslow and Alex!

October 2nd: We had a ton of lessons! Erin and Paula and they are both doing well! Paula is excited for her baptism! Even though i didn't see it in person I was able to watch Johns baptism from binghamton and that was so awesome! So proud of him! Then we had game night with the members and friends!

October 3rd: EXCHANGES WITH LOCKPORT!! oh my gosh being with sister Cluff was seriously so fun! I love her so freaking much and she is my best friend on the planet earth! We are both thinking about rooming together in collage after the mission and going on double dates together and so im very excited! Anyways we had a great excahnge a ton of finding! We found 6 friends that day! Mostly just walking aroud. Talking to people on the street!One of them was in his car and I asked him to pick a scripture from my book of mormon to read and the scripture he chose was exactly what he needed and he said he has been looking for a church and seriously he was just chilling in his car and he is not even who we were supposed to meet! It was awesome! Love those experiences! Then we went to the bishops house that night, had icecream and sang songs! 

October 4th: General confrence mostly!! Yall were all there for that so there's not much to say except we went to the Vromans house and there kids are absolutely insane, one almost drooled all over me

October 5th: more general confrencee!! We had dinner with the Elders at the Santiagos house and watched with them! It was awesome!
