10 MONTahSs ahhhh

So I actually hit my ten months! That's so weird! I remember when my trainer hit her 10 months and now me! 8 and a halfish months left! 

May 20th: We had Zone Council thus day and we basically just talked about the importance of being full time missionaries an and not fill time missionaries! We talked about the importance of our intentions and being accountable in our actions! Are we trying to get high numbers or are we trying to bring people unto Christ! Not much happened after that except we had a lesson with Shayna! Actually we weren't even supposed to meet Shayna for a lesson but I felt prompted to knock on her door anyways! And apparently it was her birthday! Coundink?! I think not!

May 21st: MY TEN MONTHS! Today was pretty epic, we had district council and Sister Johnson gave a killer training on being more intentional and accountable in the work! Then we went to the Newmans and we asked Sister Newman if she could join our lesson with Crystal! And she was like "heck yah" so anyways  she came to our lesson! And it was about how Jesus can meet us where we are at! We talked about Jesus and the story of the women who committed adultery and how Jesus told her he forgave her and to sin no more! We met Bailey today and she is super sweet!! We made her a friend cause she was friends with our friend Sophie! Then we had a super long convo/lesson with Xavier about complicated things! 

May 22nd: We met David Hearman today and we had the best lesson eva with Barington, Courtney, Michael, Earl and Kemar! And Brother Kerr decided to join us so that was awesome! We taught about the Book of Mormon and the atonement and invited them to read 3 nepi 11!

May 23rd: We had a lesson with Frank about Alma the younger, and Sister Giovo ofc joined! Frank apparently made us dinner too..but we would have to go over to his house and pick it up later! Then we had a lesson with Leyna about temples and eternal families! She said she's been thinking about getting baptized! Then we delivered cookies to Sister Penny cause her husband passed away :( then we went to the Johnsons!

May 24th: We went to the SACRED GROVE with Crystal and Sister Rettig!!! Yay!! It was the best day eva! We went to the BOOK OF MORMON printing press and the hill camora  too! Crystal loved every second of it! Can't wait til she gets baptized and gets to enter the temple! I know that day is coming soon! And even if I'm not there to see it I know I planted a seed in her heart!

May 25th: Sunday!! Today was a great sabbath day! We sang in church, and we met Rachel and we had an awesome time at the Johnsons! And we got five friends to church! Barington, Michael, Courtney, Crystal and Frank! Yay! And when we went to the Johnsons for dinner they invited Barington, Michael and Cortney too! So we had a crazy lesson about service and gave everyone in the Johnson family a slip of paper with someone's name on it and they have to serve that person for the whole week!

May 12th: sooo usually I don't write p days cause most of the day is not missionary work but we had some awesome miracles happen! We met with Tanesha and got to know her son and they are both interested! And then we met this awesome lady named Marcy and we went to her house cause we met her fiance there last time and apparently he broke up with her after being together 14 years or something crazy like that and she fr hit rock bottom cause her parents died too! and said the only friend she had was her dog :( so we are gonna teach her! She was so sweet she reached out for our hands and said we were like angels and it was really sweet! We know that we were ment to meet her!!

May 13th: We met Brandon and a crazy lady named Susan whhooo is a yapper, let me tell u!! Geez!!

May 14th: We had interviews, lesson with Crystal, helped melisa weed in her garden..full of glass don't worry we were careful and only got a little eaten alive by misquotes and had an insane lesson with Susan.

May 15th: Almost put someone on date, had an interesting zoom lesson with this dude who wanted to measure our hands and feet and an awesome lesson about prophets with Tanesha and her kids!

May 16th: had exchanges with Auburn!! Did some knocking and a couple lessons

May 17th: in Auburn all day but had the craziest Miracle! The Auburn sisters met this guy 4 days ago and when they came back they were listening to the book of mormon on an audio cause they can't read and they paid 20 bucks for this audio and it was seriously playing in the back ground when we showed up and they were already on chapter 17!! We had a super cool lesson. I recited the first vision and felt the spirit super strong! They are soo ready for baptism!

May 18th: awesome time at church and our sink got fixed by the hiatts and they got us a fan cause no air conditioning :( and the Johnsons and secret Hitler game!

Mother’s Day!!

 

This week was AMAZING!! Probably one of the best! Hope everyone else had da best week eva too!

May 6th: welll today was kinda boringish, not much happened. Well this morning was weird cause we had to get the crashed car from my first day in pulaski and drive it back to the mission office cause they fixed it up so me and Sister Johnson had to drive separately! It was like 18 thousand dollars to fix, geez that lady that hit us hopefully learned her lesson to stay sober while driving. Anyways I had the weirdest mom feelings cause I was driving and I ran a yellow light and Sister Johnson had to stop cause the light was red and I was like "stupid, stupid!!" And my brain was like "my baby!!" Haha ( sometimes you gotta lose somebody just to find that you really love someone ooohh ohhh 🎶 🎵)  okay that's a bit dramatic cause I just pulled over and waited for her and I already loved her before I lost her but anyways we made it safe and sound to the mission office. ( then I lost her on the high way cause I like to speed..tiwi ( little robot that yells at you for speeding)  does not like me but the feeling is mutual.) Anyways so that is seriously the most exciting thing that happened that day.

May 7th: Today was Freaken awesome! Today we were pretty diligent and our effort payed off! So while driving to the Mexico food pantry we called this guy named travis and he is staying at a motel in Port Ontario for now but he wants to learn so when he moves back home we will have to send him to other missionaries but he was cool! Then the food pantry was fun! We cleaned lil bucket things and blue matts. Then we had ice cream with Crystal and Elizabeth! Crystal seriously bought ice cream for us and made us these cool books and she cut out the pages so we could hide stuff in the middle! Anyways I love it! We had an awesome lesson about love,share, invite! Then we met William in the rain! It was like pouring rain and we talked about prayer and Elder hiatt was on a zoom call and it was pretty epicish we could only stand outside for like 10 minutes though cause it was drenching and my Book of Mormon has a little water damage now! But ig it gives it character. Then we had a lessonwith Xaviee about why nephi has to kill laban..he didn't really like our answer cause we said the spirit fr told him 3 times and it was an act of faith, God was testing him! Then we had the weirdest lesson with Hayden on the phone, he was playing his x-box as we talked to him and I was like bro.. so we stopped teaching him. 

May 8th: Today was incredible! Zone conference was in palmyra then we all got to go to the Sacred Grove! Zone Conference was very uplifting and gave us a ton of ideas for finding! So the spirit was strong and the break out rooms were awesome too! Then we went to lunch with some missionaries at tullys which is like a popular chicken place in NY in liverpool! Then we had an awesome lesson at the Donahues about love share invite cause we were asked to share that with all the members this week! And Sister Donahue showed us Tai Chi!! It was really fun to do it with her! Lol, she had like a whole poster of all the moves!

May 9th: We met this inactive member named sister Bauer! We hot super lost getting to her house and apparently most people who are trying to go to her house get stuck in a swamp so I'm really glad we rerouted and didn't go down the swamp trail..cause that looked sketch and I didn't trust it! Good thing, even though cause we didn't go down it we were 45 minutes late and also almost ran outta gas!! But thankfully we were able to fill up cause we were almost completely empty! Then we got to know her and taught atonement of Jesus Christ! Then she let us stay at her house and have our missionary meeting in her kitchen and she made us soup! It was awesome! After her we had a lesson at the church with Frank and Sister Giovo! We read the confrence talk the first great Commandments by Jeffery r holland! Then we did finding and went to the Johnsons and had a cracra time there! 

May 10th: Today was actually the best day though cause so much happened! This lady lost her dog so we stopped to help her! I prayed like 15 times and finally we found her dog and we got the lady's number! She was so happy to find Lulu and said she would be interested in learning about Jesus! Then we had a zone comp study on being more patient and that was really good! Then we had a lesson with Sister pappa about love share invite! Then we had the same lesson with the Berry's and then we met four Jamaican dudes! And they were really nice and we gave all of them bibles and book of Mormons! And they were like "how much does it cost??" And we were like it's "free!" And they were lucky "yay!" We committed them all to read the intro and that we would come back in a couple days to see how they did! Then we called our bud Rick and he is next door neighbors with this drug addict we used to teach.. so yeah but Rick is way cooler and doesn't do drugs

Sunday was awesome!!!!

Heyyy it's been a minute!

Whats up everyone! Hope yall are doing good and stuff! It's been a while and so I'm just gonna do the highlights of the last two weeks!

April 22nd: Today we has MLC! Mission leader something! Fr idk but it was good! It was about how we can learn from eachother and how trainers can learn from there greenies. Which is true I learn alot from Sister Johnson! 

April 23rd: The AP sisters came to Pulaski! Sister Hansen served here before so she knew alot of the people we were teaching and she was the OG sister who met Crystal and Elizabeth! We met this guy named Nicholas and we thought he was cool at the time turns out he's really into drugs and stuff and he's crazy. 

April 24th: We dropped some flirty guy we were teaching

April 25th: Today we had a buttload of lessons and an epic micro training on how we go out and do missionary work not because of numbers or because we like to mess around and go hang out with random people but because we love the Savior. We had some amazing lessons today and felt the spirit. When we pulled up to franks lesson he was like "today your gonna teach this." And we were like that works for us, so we taught prophets and stuff and hopefully all our lessons he just tells us what he wants to know.

April 26th we met patrick!! He believes in Jesus cause Big foot apparently told him! Real stud! Yeah he's kinda crazy but I think he's acontable enough to keep teaching...maybe not idk.. he also hugs trees. 

April 27th: We had an interesting lesson with this teenager named Hayden who doesn't seem interested at all. We had a lesson with Michael and he has a speech impediment sooo we couldn't understand a word he said but he seemed nice!! And dinner at the Johnsons!!

April 28th: pretty interesting pday at mini golf

April 29th: We went to the TEMPLE today!! It was so beautiful! We took brother John Curcie for the first time and he had a great time! We also went to all the sights and stuff so that was fun! 

April 30th: Today was kinda tuff but that's okay! We had a lesson with Elizabeth on being baptized so hopefully one day she will want to get baptized!

April 1st: We had a ton of lessons! We had a lesson with Frank and it was about faith and repentance! We found this cute lady named Izzy! And she talked to us for like 30 minutes about her boy drama but she seemed sweet so hopefully she will be okay with us talking more about how Jesus can help her through her boy drama next time! And we had two lessons back to back with Sharon and Dorothy! 

April 2nd: We were on exchanges with manlis today and wehad a lesson about the law of chastity with this lady who has healing rocks!

April 3rd: We joined the choir for stake confrence at liver pool and it was really fun!! And stake conference was really good!

April 4th: We had stake confrence and some lessons and stuff

April 5th: im finally caught up halalooyah!!
