New comp! Newcar! 💥🚗

This week has been absolutely WILD!! Probably one of the best weeks yet! Like fr there is not one thing I can think of that I didn't like this week. I had some hard times that helped me grow and I had some good times that will always be memorable :)

January 28th: We got transfer news finally!! I found out I'm going to Pulaski NY with Sister Prettyman!! It's this super boonie town out in Syracuse and it's so cute! We had a quick lesson with a member today, Sister Starr! Sister Fellars was in the middle of testifying about faith when Sister Starr shouted at her cat and the F bomb slipped out. It was pretty funny. Poor Lil kit though, he was only scratching at the wall. After that we did some phone calls and visited some members! We said good bye to the Showalters, Garcia fam and the Liscoms! We hung out with the Liscoms that night and played games with them. 

January 29th: Me and Sister Simpson packed like crazy today! It was chaotic! I'm a little sad I'm leaving Orcahard Park cause it's my first area to one and done but I'm also excited to see what else is out there! After packing we found this cool guy named Alden! He has no toes on his left foot and he was cross eyed. He was really funny though and talked about how hard of a worker he was and stuff. Then we met this cool guy named Lu and made him a friend! Then we had this really cool interaction while looking for a referral. We were looking for his old roommate Don but Don left he house as soon as we got there. Anyways it went like this: We said we were looking for Don and he said "who?" "Don!" And he was like "what??" "DON!" And he was like " what's the last name???" Then we said the last name and he then went "OOooOOh Don!! I thought you said Dawn." ( bruh) anyways his name was Pat or "Brother" Pat as he liked to call himself and we had a cool conversation about faith and and what we do as missionaries and he said he might come to church and bring Don so eyyy two birds with one stone. Maybe it was God's plan for us to meet him instead. At dinner the Browns made Sister Simpson birthday cake and then we went to YWs! 

January 30th: Transfer day! Today was wild! So I was stuffed in the back seat of the car for 3 and a half hours with two  missionarys suitcases full of stuff. Transfers is crazy but after I said goodbye to Sister Simpson and Fellars me and Sister Prettyman met eachother and headed to my new home PULASKI! We found out on the drive home we have a ton in common! We both love dinosuars and both our favorite dinosuars are the ankylosaurse!! And we both love DINO squad!! If you don't know what dino squad I'd look it up immediately cause you won't regret it! Then we got to Pulaski and did some door knocking! We found this guy named Al door knocking and his dog buster was crazy, he kept peeing on everything in sight. We talked with Al about the creation and set up a return apt! Then there was this house we both wanted to knock so me and Sister Prettyman just looked at eachother and trecked through the 2 foot snow to get to the front door and then realized that the door they use is where we were before trecking through the snow, we were both laughing so hard, Sister prettyman said that was the funnest time she's had going finding in a long time which made me feel really good :). Then we went to the Johnsons for a member meal! So we were playing games with the family and then an hour later we were ready to go but then we both had a feeling that we needed to stay! 5 minutes later BOOM! One of the kids runs downstairs and asks us if we felt the house move. And we all ran to look outside and this lady was speeding and rammed into our car! Both cars got totaled and then we had the Hopkins drive us home! Soo then we forgot our apartment keys were with the car keys sooo we had to drive all the way to the car company place and got our apartment keys and then finally got to the apartment at 11:30ish and went to bed! ( tbh I was kinda scared of the car we had so I prayed to figure out the breaks.. apparently God decided to just give us a totally new car instead! which that works too!) 

January 31st: So we didn't have a car almsot all day until 4pm today! It was the weirdest feeling having full on free transportation one day and then nothing the next. Cause we didn't have a car we did daily planning, unpacked a bit, and just got to know eachother a bit better, we made a friend on a phone call! His name is Christopher and he was really cool, we talked about having faith and how it's more than just believing but it's also action! Then we had an awesome lesson with Crystal and asked her to pray about baptism! Finally we got a car and went to the Rettegs for dinner and them did a bunch of missionary stuff that night and then had a lesson with April about prophets!

February 1st and 2nd: best parts about those days were we made two friends! We were very diligent and obediant and Crystal came to church and frank! 

Spiritual thought: Alma 32: 13 let's be humble cause it's all God's work
