7 months!!

Oh we're half way thereree ohh ohh math is not my strong suit!! this week was pretty awesome sauce!

February 25th: Today was all over the place! this morning was awful and I don't really wanna get into the details but we stopped teaching our friend Frank and it was really hard. But it got a lot better when the Manulis Sisters came for exchanges! Me and Sister Yates went finding and found this really creepy guy named Billy! Then we switched and me and Sister Dodgen went to the Jones for dinner and her kids are crazy but it was really fun! Her son Wesley kept getting his food all over Sister Dodgen and leaned on her shoulder like "what's up girl" After that we went knocking and found two really cool people right in a row! The first guys name was Chris and he didn't have a belief in Jesus Christ but he said he was willing to learn! Then we met Tanesha!! Tanesha and her kids were the cutest!! They have a belief in God and are looking for a church! And they said they want to meet again! Yay!

February 26th: We had district council today and it was probably my best district council w/this district cause we talked during lunch after and that was really fun! Elder Gray gave a training on following spiritual promptings and just following a prompting if it's good even if you don't know if it's the spirit or not cause every good thought comes from the spirit! Elder Zimmerman comment was my favorite! He said he was prompted to turn the door handle to someone's house even though it was locked and nothing came outta it but he said those are promptings God uses to test you to make sure your listening. God testing your faith! So FOLLOW PROMPTINGS!! It's important to believe what we do helps someone even if you don't see the effects of your efforts. We got the tires rotated on our car and that took a bizzilion years jk it took 2 hours but 2 HOURS?! Thats a long time! We watched the same news station like 5 times and by then we had it memorized. but then when that was over we drove back to Pulaski and had a stewardship call. Then we went to "the Gang's place" ( Stacy, Bill, Art, Tammy, Kylie and Shelia) and we taught Stacy and Bill the atonement!  And that's it folks.

February 27th: Alright well today was pretty good! We made no friends but we sure did try! We've made one friend this week thus far!  We went finding at this trakter place and it was raining so if people were in there cars we would just pull up to there cars and start talking to them and it worked pretty good..I mean no one wanted to talk to us but atleast we weren't making them talk in the rain. Then we ran into the manger and he didn't kick us out! He also didn't seem super happy. We drove to Mexico and knocked some houses, then we had service at the food pantry and we just helped organize birthday supplies and then we took a selfie with everyone. Then Stan broke up with us and the Rettigs had us over for dinner. We laughed with them about random stuff and then had a lesson about the stripping warriors! Then we went to the gangs house and had a lesson with Tammy about the plan of Salvation! That night me and Sister Prettyman were in charge of Zone comp study and we did a pretty good job if I don't say so myself :)

February 28th: Sister Prettyman was felling pretty sick and kept chuckaramaing into the toilet so I just did a bunch of phone calls this morning. I'd say "can I call so and so and she would grunt and I took that as a yes. Then we had micro training and talked about how we need to wear the armor of God! And sometimes putting on the armor of God means to sacrifice things! I like to think I have to sacrifice a short period of time to be without my family so I can help people be with there families for eternity! Then we visited Sam and talked to him about prayer and even though he wanted to talk about politics we decided that we would just keep it on prayer! Then we had a bomb.com lesson with Crystal about all the baptism questions and Crystal is super sweet and she just learns stuff like a sponge and soaks in information! It's awesome! We met Mariah that day! She is so cute and we read helaman 5:12 with her and she loved it and wanted us to come back! Then we had dinner at the Johnsons and I finally memorized all 7 of there kids names! we played the Holy Ghost game with them where someone would leave the room and the holy ghost hid a little Jesus picture and then the kid would come back in and the Holy Ghost had to lead them to the Jesus and everyone else would try to decide them! Then we made some phone calls and made Steve a friend!

March 1st: so we drove around trying to find people interested and we found nooo one but we had an awesome lesson with our inactive member Matt about the stripping warriors! He wants to come back to church so hopefully he comes soon! Then we went to this one inactive members house and she had a sign on the door that said " no soliciting and that includes lds missionaries" dang it. So we left her and we tried knocking and found no friends. But we had another lesson with an inactive member named Andrea and she should us all her art work and we had a lesson about the gift of repentance and read Enos verses 5and 6.

March 2nd: church!! Yay!!So it was fast Sunday so me and Sister pretttyman fasted the dinner March 1st so we only had to fast breakfast. At church it was testimony meeting and Xavier gave the best testimony about prayers being anwsered cause that morning there car wouldn't start but he prayed it would and it did! His dad was so proud it was so cute! In Sunday school we read the docterine covenants and talked about why it's important to have christ like charity! We had a lesson with John about the holy ghost or the holy angel as he likes to call it! Then we made banana bread and sister prettyman painted April a Book of Mormon for her birthday and we had a lesson about how the gospel blesses all of God's children! Then we had dinner at the Johnsons and it was so chaotic! It was awesome! Caz said she picked up her soup but there was a giant pile of soup under the kitchen table and Cleon and Kyrum decided to start wrestling in the middle of dinner lol itvwas so funny! We had a lesson with cups each cup was labeled something gospel related and one of the cups was Jesus christ! We stacked them and then Caz took out Jesus Christ and all the cups fell and we talked about how Jesus is the chief corner stone and should be our foundation! Then we practiced the cup song! Missionary edition!
