Elllo everyone!! So I totally spaced emailing last week so I gotta lottta stuff to go over so I'll try to keep it brief and just mention the good stuff which is almost everything so no hard feelings if you skip to the pictures :)
August 21st: My SISTER AVERYS BIRTHDAY! So president said I could text her happy birthday so I'm so thankful for her and for him cause he said I could text ( email) Avery! Today was my first district counsel and my district is crazy but probably cause they are all boys except me and Sister Nelson:) Then we had Young womens/men's that night and we did a cooking competition and my team won! Take that Sister Nelson! Jk jk there's was actually really yummy too! There is only two young men and one young women so we love being apart of mutual activities!
August 22nd So today wasn't so hot but yk not everydays gonna be sunshine and rainbows. So we had a lesson with Christina..turns out she lives in Florida. Not sure how we missed that.. but then we went to work at this clothes place and it turns out that the people working there think Harry Potter is the devil. So I guess I'm a sinner cause I love Harry Potter ( mostly just Draco Malfoy) and then we went to a scripture class that night!
August 23rd Ayyooo it was a great day! We went and served some people at the rescue mission place and one of them was high I think but he looked and acted just like Uncle Rico from Napoleon Dynamite. We made Sister Nelsons moms recipe nachos for lunch! We had a lesson with Kaleel and he's so cool and we are excited for him! Then we went to visit this cute lady at the hospital and we got to share a spiritual thought with her! Then we went and heart attacked a bunch of doors for people in the ward. We got caught and it was a bit awkward
August 24th Miracles are soo real!! We met our friend Nathan! We taught him about the BOM! He seemed really interested so we are hoping to get him to church! Then we had the ward picnic!! It was the funnest picnic ever! The Hams invited everyone! Half the people there weren't members of the church so I was really excited to meet some new people! Then we met Mari that day!! She's this super cool 20 year old girl who is super fun! We are teaching her the gospel and also hanging out with her on p days!
August 25th Sweet Sunday! I had a killer talk about miracles and having faith in Christ! I felt the spirit so strong at church! Then after church we went to like the sketchyest place in NY.. but we didn't die soo that's a plus!
August 26th p day with the district!! We went mini golfing!
August 27th We painted the Atwoods house for like 2 hours! But it was fun!
August 28th butt load of SERVICE! And some mosquito bites on my right arm! Yay! Haha it was worth it!
August 29th more service and lessons
August 30th Service at the resuce center and then WE MET LORI!! She's so cool and she is definitely getting baptized! Soon! We think!!
August 31st my parents anniversary ❤️ Love you mom and Dad!! We went on exchanges to Water Town and then tried making friends but no one was interested but it's okay..some dog barked at us in the rain so maybe he was sorta interested.
September 1st: Sunday!! We had a great day with our small ward of about 30 people..on a good day but either way we love our ward family and fasted for them!
