Okay that was the cringest title ever i know but hey im a cringy person! what can I say haha! Also I didn't write an email last week so you get two weeks worth of updates! Lucky you!!
October 21st: we had a lesson with Jo this cute old lady!! She cant hear very well so we have to scream at her but i have plenty experience of that when I worked at Culvers because apparently old people really liked eating there! Then we had a crazy lesson with one of our friends! We had him teach us the plan of Salvation and it was pretty caotic..he didn't really teach anything and was just upset we cant hug people in the spirit world cause we are spirits..oh also I hit 15 months as a missionary today! Then we learned about S.P.L.A.T song, prayer. Lesson, activity and treat!
October 22nd: We had district council and interviews with president! President asks all the missionaries leaving if they were a successful missionary and I was like heck yah! I love being a missionary and im trying my best to help people and even if that means just planting seeds sometimes then I know that one day those seeds will grow :) then we had a lesson with Roger! He said he'd pull up to church but he didn't. Darn. We had a lesson with a refural and he was crazy..he believes he is God ..but wait there's more! He also believes his son is Jesus Christ. Then we had dinner with Sister Smith and her food was sooo good! I was starving so its just what I needed! And then we bought some paint and started making our Halloween costumes!
October 23rd: We had a pretty amazing lesson with Wiston! He has so much faith and its awesome to see! We talked about repentance and how it is a good thing to repent and how we all need to repent everyday! Then we committed him to share a pamphlet with a friend! We stopped by a bunch of people with no success an another crazy lesson with Jeremy. Then we finished our Halloween costumes and sang girls camp songs to the top of our lungs!
October 24th: we went to the church to help the relief society to set up Harry Potter decorations! Floating candles, the sorting hat and platform 9 3/4 & our giant paper mache tarantula! We somehow hanged it up on the wall sideways. It was pretty impressive if I do say so myself. We had a lesson with Heather and Mark and taught the entire plano! It was awesome! Mark loved it so much he took a picture of my puzzle :) we committed him to read the rest of Alma 40! Then we went to spirit Halloween for comp study and ran around and put trunk or treat flyers all over people's cars hehe! Then the liscoms helped us cut holes for faces in our costumes cause we thought it would be funnier lol. We went as the quad! Sista Coston was the sickest bible eva, sister bjornn was a fire Book of Mormon, sister cosmon was the D & C and I was probs the coolest pearl of great price you ever did see haha!
October 25th: We had service this morning so I just did a lotta moving boxes and mopping! Yay! Then we had a lesson with Sister Gabin and she wants us to help her dig stuff in her yard! After our lesson we helped the liscoms carry 80 pound bags of corn to a corn pit for the trunk or treat..I could only carry like 4 of them lol. Felt like my arms were gonna fall off. Then we helped Brother Bailee carve a pumpkin so we could set it on fire later! Our friend pulled up to the trunk or treat and hes a little off..he started talking to his dead grandpa in the sky and dancing all over the place. Someone had to tell him to chill out but it was really funny. And our car was pretty epic, sister cosman made a card board tree that was the tree of life! And a poster that said iron rod: word of God aka the quad! And then we broke our Broom and made it an iron rod!
October 26th: sister coston took a video of me falling asleep in church for like 3 minutes and so that was embarrassing but what I did hear of Church was very good a lot about the grace of God! But we had two of our friends come to church so that was epic! Then we helped the Liscoms move corn and hay and it was a pretty fun time! We had a dance party too ofc. We had dinner with the Reynolds and the son was like " i don't wanna do the dishes and so the dad chased him around the table and we just awkwardly sat there lol. Then we had a lesson with Ryan and he's actually super cool and eager to learn! We taught faith and repentance! During this lesson he only talked to his imaginary grandpa once and ran crossed the time Hortons to kill a spider! How heroic lol. We gave him a Book of Mormon and bible and then he rode off on his bike and seriously just disappeared.. he was fast!
October 27th: pdayyyyyy!!!!!!
October 28th: we had three lessons back to back to back! But they all went pretty good! Especially Carrie! She is so sweet and loves our church and she has such a strong testimony! We had a lesson with Firefly about baptism so hopefully soon she will want to get baptized!
October 29th: we cleaned our car cause it was starting to look like we lived in it frfr which we sorta do but yk it was gross.. then we stopped by this lady named Paula and had the weirdest interaction eva.. she thought some crazy bad stuff about us. So ill just leave it at that! We had dinner at the dimicks and bore our testimonys of temples for the seminary kids cause they are the seminary teachers!
October 30th: My last zone conference! I gotta see my best friends sister cluff and Johnson! Zoco was awesome! It was all about treating others kindly and working hard! Very motivational! Then we went through the Sacred Grove and just took time to feel the spirit! Then we had dinner with the wolf's and one of the waiters bowed and I swear his head almost hit his knees..idk it was just so funny. Then we had a lesson with Mark about the Holy ghost! He moved his baptismal date up!!!
HALLOWEEN: had a lesson with Wiston! Stopped by a bunch of people and then made pumpkin cookies and did the sprite challenge! So kinda a boring Halloween tbh but ehhh atleast I didn't lose the sprite challenge!
November 1st: We had the craziest lesson with Ryan, he kept jumping up and running off to beat up (not really but he did get pretty mad) the neighbor kids and then the next door neighbor got involved too and almost called the cops..while me and sister Coston just watched it all go down! We made some epic friends today knocking! We put Lisa on date for baptism too! Then we had stake confrenec!
November 2nd: STAKE CONFEENCE!!!!! YASSSSS!! it was so good, bro one part made me cry..which is actually not super surprising for me. I cry sometimes when I feel the spirit so quite a lot lol. Then we made two friends!!! Damon and Cristina! We found Cristina at Walmart and she is actually sooo cool! She was like do yall stop by people's houses and I was like "oh do we! You don't even know! So yah a pretty good week!
